In this self-published zine, I use autoethnography and creative non-fiction as a research method to explore aggression in casual romantic and sexual encounters. I enter from a metaphorical “hearing” from both sides, writing the zine in a choose-your-own-adventure style from “his” and “her” point of view. This layout abstracts time and reality. I play with the strategy of empathetic engagement to convey the feeling of helplessness and misadventure.
